I am trying to connect QGC inbuilt app on the mk 15 trx with the mk air unit but its not working
I changed SERIAL1_baud to 56700
I tried changing the SERIAL1_PROTOCOL to 1
Did same for serial 2 also
On siyi tx app selected connection is UART,under flight controller chooses PIX
baud rate to 56700
Then noticed that in QGC there is no comn link
Then tried create a comn link with the above baudrate and seleted UART. But then it throughs an error “ error on link Telem. Error connecting: could not create port. Unknown error” not exactly getting what to do can any one plss guide me.
Please refer to the image in the link
I am using Q ground control daily version “4.2.3.3 32” bit
did you find a solution for this?
SiYi stuff is VERY FINICKY and you need to follow the connection and setup directions TO THE LETTER. I had been frustrated by a MK32 system. It would connect to the Air Unit and the drone, but the A8 mini Gimbal camera was very flakey. I messed with it for a while and then it just stopped working altogether. Then I found out that I had miss-wired the Air Unit. Once I sorted that out the MK32 would connect to the drone and I could get video from the camera, I could save video and take and save pictures, but I could not control the mount. Come to find out there was a manufacturing defect in the camera that damaged a ribbon cable. Another issues was the old Pixhawk 2.4.8 that I was using. It just didn’t have enough grunt to run the SiYi firmware so I switched to their N7 (a Pixhawlk 6C in disguise), and so far everything is working fine. Now all I need is for the new A8 mini to get here and I should be good to go.
Did you bind the Air Unit to the MK15?
One thing I just noticed. You have the data rate wrong. You have 56700 when it should be 57600.
