Dear pilots,
I’ve got a Cube Orange FD running PX4 and I want to connect QGroundControl running on a SIYI MK15 to it.
Now, I normally use Ardupilot firmware and I haven’t done a setup with PX4 before. The reason I’m using PX4 this time, is that I want to have a working Remote ID (that’s already working) and I’m already using TELEM2 for this purpose.
I’ve got the air unit bound already but I haven’t been able to connect from SIYIQgroundControl, QGroundcontrol, Mission Planner, or any other app running on the MK15
I’m now trying to use the GPS1 port on the Cube Orange FD and the pinout seems ok. I’ve also tried to use GPS2, TELEM1 and others.
Any help would be greatly welcomed
I got it working on Telem1
I cut the red wire
Long way to go still. Strying to configure GPS2 for MAVLINK and I want to use the port as TEL3 57600 MAV version 2 etc.
Latest daily build of QgroundControl Android works for me. Latest stable release does not connect
Some parameters were wiped by this endavour. Namely RemoteID but I seem to have those up and running again.
Checking for firmware updates for the MK15…
QGC stable working, RemoteID working with GCS GNSS, ADS-B working, Drone ID “Trusted” on Dronescanner, ready for test flight…
Having problems making video working in QGC with GH1.25-8pin. Got an old SONY 10X inspection camera that I want to use for this test rig. But then again, from what I can read and ascertain, there’s a reason why SIYI lists the HDMI converter as “Recommended”. (read - won’t work without it?)
The PX4 firmware is strange. There are params in doc and various insctructions that I want to use and seem to be absent and/ or not available.
All working. I’ll test the MK32 and RC7 PRO next. I’ll see how this compares with Herelink 1.1
