I am using a Pixhawk 2.4.8 with a BAYCKRC 2.4G receiver (baud rate 420000) connected to the TELEM2 port. The receiver is successfully connected and bound to the transmitter (RadioMaster Pocket 2.4G). However, the Pixhawk cannot communicate with the receiver, and the Radio Setup in QGroundControl (QGC) shows “Not Ready.”
I have set the QGC parameter SER_TEL2_BAUD to 420000, but the issue persists. I also tried connecting the receiver to the TELEM1 port, but it still does not work. Additionally, the Pixhawk’s red LED keeps blinking continuously.
Does anyone know what other settings I should configure to resolve this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Its not a radio issue. That old Pixhawk chokes on PX4. I had the same issue when I wanted to use PX4 so I could use an SiYi Mk32 long range handheld GCS and an SiYi HD camera. Another issue was cable incompatibility between a 2.4.8 and the SiYi stuff. I ended up buying an SiYi N7 flight controller.
Previously, I connected a serial interface (PL2303GC) and a receiver (BAYCKRC), and I was able to view CRSF logs in PuTTY. This suggests that the receiver supports CRSF communication via its TX/RX pins.
Based on this setup, how can I configure the protocol radio in QGroundControl when connect Pixhawk and receiver? Thank you.
