VisualOdom out of memory Pixhawk 2.4.8

Hello there,

Is there any way to make the Visual Odometry work on Pixhawk 2.4.8 ? I keep getting “VisOdom : Out of memory” error on Prearm.
Do I need a more powerful board ?

I am trying to do a simple thing which is make my drone follow a QR code (camera facing down). I am sending vision_position_estimate from my Raspberry PI to the Pixhawk, however it seems that for this to work, I need to have VISIO_TYPE to 1, which then causes the out of memory error.

Is there any way to perform what I am searching for using the good old Pixhawk 2.4.8 ?
