Pixhawk 4 failing to arm

Hi, I am new to the Pixhawk and having some issues getting it working.

I am receiving the Preflight Fail: MAG SENSORS INCONSISTENT error. I have already tried the following with no luck:

  • recalibrate sensors
  • recalibrate radio
  • update firmware

Can anyone help?

Do you have a GPS installed with a built-in compass? If you do, disable the internal one via CAL_MAG1_EN in Parameters so it’ll only consider the one with the GPS.

I had the same issue on a Pixhawk one and had to turn off the internal compass and just use the one in the GPS.
