Following up the discussion from last week’s coordination call, I was encouraged by @rroche to make this post.
We recently tried to install a parachute system on our drone. It uses MAVLINK to connect to the flight controller. Unfortunately it is unable to establish a connection to the FMU in our setup (PX4 1.15.2). After trying some things we downgraded to PX4 1.14.3, where the parachute worked fine without any further setup. Unfortunately the software on the parachute is proprietary, so we have no access to it. Are there any steps we could try or will we have to wait for the manufacturer?
