MAV_*_MODE Missing on 1.15.4 6C S500 Airframe

Flight controller: Pixhawk 6C
PX4: 1.15.4
QGC: v4.4.4
Airframe: Holybro S500

MAV_*_MODE parameters are missing. I want to connect a Raspberry Pi via TELEM2 UART. I am trying to set MAV_1_MODE to 2 (Onboard).

Note: I am able to connect the Pi via the USB-C port on the 6C but I want to understand why these parameters are missing.

These parameters (MAV_1_MODE,RATE, etc) should be displayed after a reboot (maybe even after a ‘refresh’ from the Tools menu on the top right).
