I’ve been having issues with getting my to stabilize enough to get off the ground, and since I have quintuple checked the motor assignment, rotation, and orientation, I have turned my attention to other possible causes. I have checked the software and everything seems stock, so I have been looking into possible hardware issues with my gps and 3dr px4. I discovered that my ublox m8 CMOS battery was dead, so I replaced with a m10.
I just now had the idea to check the CMOS on the px4 itself, and found that it is essentially dead. I’m not sure exactly what it needs the CMOS for as I thought all the parameters were saved on the microSD card.
I was thinking of getting a newer version because the coin cell is spot welded to the board.
Thoughts?
