Thank you for your blessing! Actually, I have built a y3 tilting rotor, which runs apm firmware. I want to replace a set of can equipment, but it is impossible to automatically assign ID to esc in apm firmware.Below is my plane’s video link。

Hello everyone, I decided to build a VTOL with EDFs on flying wing with tricopter style as described below image [image] I actually almost finished building as below [image] I setup as default Tricopter + setup and successfully flew in vertical mode. The problem I have now is that apm’s firmware cannot assign an ID to can esc

did you ever figure this out? I’m going to try pretty much the same thing, and I had considered CAN ESCs just for fun. If necessary I can make a way to set the CAN ID for a motor.
