SOLVED Radiolink Rx(R12DS)&TX(AT10) +pixhawk2.4.8 connection +configuration
(edit.. I just discovered that the data/power plug needed to have black on the bottom on the receiver and black on top with the controller; works well) About every 10 years I cycle back to r/c models. I started in R/C in the 50’s when the radios used tubes and operated on ham frequencies and it was all DIY. The actuators consisted of a bent wire and powered by a rubber band and solenoid. One blip on the transmitter allowed the wire movement. It was set up such that the rudder band would move the rudder; then another blip allowed elevator movement, etc. Every 10 years I find a quantum leap in technology.
I decided to dive into building a model aircraft so I bought a kit that contained the controller, motors and drivers. I bought a transmitter that had a mating receiver. What could go wrong??? Well I have spent the last two weeks trying to connect the receiver to the transmitter. No luck. I know I am doing something stupid any and all suggestions welcome.
I have the following parts -
(Transmitter)radiolink AT10+
(receiver) radiolink R12DS+
pixhawk 2.4.8
the current situation is that I connected s.bus 3 pins(GND+signal+ voltage) to “RCIN” of the controller. The power is from a USB port on my computer.
I made sure that the transmitter was set to 12 channels. I push the binding button on the receiver two short, later long trying everything several times and it sits unbound like a lump. I am unable to connect to the transmitter and bind the system. I do see an antenna icon on the transmitter but the power bars don’t show. Mission planner shows no movement of the controls. I have a second receiver showing the same results.
Thanks in advance for your help.
