Motor and ESC Issue on Holybro X650 with Pixhawk 6C

Dear Support Team,

I am using a Holybro X650 quadcopter with a Pixhawk 6C flight controller. I control the drone via telemetry using a joystick and pre-programmed missions through Mission Planner.

There are no failsafe messages, and all calibrations have been completed except for the ESCs.

The issue I’m facing is that the motors do not spin properly. More specifically, they make small periodic movements approximately every 2 seconds, accompanied by a beeping sound. This occurs when MOT_PWM_TYPE is set to 6 (DShot600). The motors’ indicator LEDs also remain off.

When I change MOT_PWM_TYPE to 0 (Normal), I am able to arm the drone and control it using the joystick. However, the drone still cannot take off. There is no significant payload installed, so it should be able to lift off. The current draw is only 6.6A, which seems suspiciously low. The battery voltage is 22.76V (6S LiPo, 14,500mAh).

I would like to use the drone with DShot600, but the motors continue to beep and fail to spin as expected. Could you please help me troubleshoot this issue?

Best regards,
Tibor

Are the ESCs compatible with DShot?

And in PWM mode, have you tried doing the ESC calibration?
