Is Pixhawk 2.4.8 with PX4 possible?

I’ve been trying to use my Pixhawk 2.4.8 with PX4 firmware but always have the issue of the left side of the motors not working. With ArduPilot, it works just fine. However, I would like to use PX4 as I have been working with that in simulation using gazebo and dronekit. Any ideas on how to fix this?
