I have been wanting to test my code on HIL platform and as it turns out when I establish all the necessary connections and provide inputs through actuators tab, I do not see them moving.
I checked the forum for solutions and it seems, they have solved for versions v1.14.0 and v1.13.3 however, for v1.15.4 I am not able to find a fix. Since rc.interface file is not there, state_machine_helper.cpp is not there and plenty other files are not there in v1.15.4.
Anyone with a solution for this?

HIL isn’t very well supported I’m afraid. You will have to do some debugging to figure out what is going on. Otherwise, I can recommend to use SIH which works pretty well out of the box.

I saw the SIH documentation and it seems like that for VTOL, that feature is available from v1.16. I am currently using stable v.1.5.4
I am working on a simulink based simulator and I am not sure if SIH for that will really work. Will it?
Probably not. Are you using the Mathworks UAVtoolbox for this?
