We just got our Alta X with QGC on the Herelink. There’s an error message about 0 channels available / need 5. Also, The stick calibration isn’t working. The diagram shows the left stick in the up position and the Next button works, then nothing responds except Cancel. Is there a manual available for this thing?
Hi There, I recently ran into the same issue.
I solved this by doing a stick calibration while powered up via USB C. This seemed to have allowed me to arm the aircraft.
It makes sense that there would be no stick reaction and the error message while powered up with the battery and getting telem through the Herelink, as the Herelink is only running via UART and no SBUS.
ONLY set the Herelink up for TELEMETRY (UART)!!
DO NOT ATTEMPT to run the ALTA X rc(SBUS/PWM) via the herelink. the Herelink only has the standard QGC app and not the ALTA QGC app. Setting up the airframe with the normal QGC results in incorrect PID and calibrations and will cause the drone to fishbowl and fly like crazy.
