Can't connect telemetry radios through QGC to Cube

I keep getting this error when I try to introduce a comm link on QGC. I’m using Sik firmware on telemetry radios and a Pixhawk 2.1 and the radios solid green on their LEDs so they are connected. Has anyone encountered this before? I also understand that QGC should generally automatically connect without having to manually do a comm link but it doesn’t
