VTOL can't take off in mission

Can you explain why the plane can’t take off the ground on its own in mission mode?
In order for the device to fly on a mission, first I need to lift it off the ground and then switch the mode to mode.
the following happens in logs:

  • VTOL is Disarm, swape to start a mission in QGC
  1. arming - > switch mode to mission
  2. [LOG]Takeoff detected (VTOL rotates the props a little)
  3. [LOG]Land detected
  4. TODO step 2
