Running with x500_gimbal in Gazebo Harmonic (and QGC 5.0.8). The vehicle appears to have the gimbal mounted camera and I can fly via QGC. But I haven’t been able to move the gimbal at all. For instance, “pxh> gimbal test pitch 60” gives no output and the camera doesn’t move in Gazebo, (although the command is reflected in the output of “pxh> gimbal status”). I’ve also tried playing with actuators in QGC, but other than getting the props to spin, I haven’t gotten any gimbal movement. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you!!
I was finally able to move the gimbal around by using the rate commands (like “gimbal test pitchrate 20”) which doesn’t seem right. I filed a bug here:
