Hello,
As you can see in the photo, flight telemetry information is displayed at the bottom of the screen.
On Android-based transmitters like the H16 or MK15, I’ve heard that if you configure voltage display settings there, the values can sometimes change to random numbers—even when the telemetry display is locked using the lock button.
the profile sometimes resets.
I’m curious about what might cause this issue and how it can be prevented.
I’ve already checked the following options:
- Disable “Clear all settings on next start”
- Disable “Disable all data persistence”, but couldn’t find this option in the mobile version of QGroundControl.
Any insight or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
Is this the SIYI fork or an upstream build?
Hello. I’m not a QGC developer (though I have some development experience in other fields), and I don’t currently have the transmitter with me, so my information is limited.
The transmitter was in its stock state, and as far as I know, there were no firmware changes — so it’s probably the SIYI fork.
If it’s important, I can check and confirm it again.
Not sure we can help much with the (presumably) proprietary fork of SIYI. You’ll have to talk to SIYI.
Hello,
I’ve been checking the QGroundControl version installed on the SIYI MK15, and it appears to be the mainstream build.
*The version is v4.1.1.
*There is no mention of SIYI in the Help > About menu.
*The app was installed via the Google Play Store.
However, I’m still not sure if this is truly the mainstream version or a customized SIYI fork.
Is there a definitive way to check whether this is the official QGroundControl build or a SIYI-modified version?
The only way to know is if they give you the source and you can recompile yourself and match the functionality.
