SBUS Output

Hello,
Has anyone successfully been able to use the SBUS output on the pixhawk4? I don’t seem to be getting an SBUS to PWM converter to work properly. I don’t know if the channels are passed through by default or whether there is some additional setup that needs to be done?

hi,
is your GCS thro’ QGC

Hi,

Yes it is. QGC.

My reply is too short so I need to fill in this extra line.

only the I/O, Main PWM values can be seen in SBUS out. if you trying with AUX/FMU PWM, it will not work.

Awesome, I will test and let post the results.

It’s not too intuitive but ok here is what I did to get this to work.

  1. Enable PWM_SBUS_MODE output. https://ibb.co/pQW9pT3
  2. Set Frsky SBUS converter port 1 to CH 1. https://ibb.co/pK5Bq8Z
  3. Config the output as necessary in the PWM MAIN tab. https://ibb.co/ZgLnw0w
  4. Test with actuator control.
NOTE: I am using the PM07 board with AUX ports mapped to MOTOR 1-4 for DSHOT ESCs. Therefore my FMU PWM OUT is Plugged into I/O PWM IN, I/O PWM OUT is plugged into FMU PWM IN
