Px4 simulation with ROS2 Humble and Gazebo

I would like to establish a development environment for px4 utilizing ROS2 Humble and Gazebo as the simulation tool. Despite following the instructions outlined in the official documentation, I encountered difficulties in successfully completing the installation. Therefore, I kindly request detailed guidance from anyone who can assist me in accomplishing this task. Your assistance and support will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Have you tried with ROS 1 .

yes i have tried ROS 1 and everything works fine

Any reason to choose ROS 2 over ROS 1

ROS 2 eliminates most of the complexity faced in ROS1 and provied good integration with px4

OK…great …I also heard that it reduces latency …I don’t know how much of it is true.

Have you followed the below link

yes I followed the same docs as mentioned but could not install everything successfully

OK…Did you try the following alternate link

great…if you are into obstacle sensing ,please let me know how to go about it in simulation…

I have created detailed step by step guide: follow this guide if anyone is new to PX4 with ROS2 Humble. I will be updating this guide when needed

@nikhilsnayak3473 It would be better if you would be able to contribute to the official px4 documentation instead of creating a new repository of instructions
