what is your source of observation? and doesnt avoidance pkg already doing this now?
we were testing this inhouse. the drone stops, but it does not adjust its position to try and move around. I understand that there is an obstacle avoidance package in PX4: Obstacle Avoidance | PX4 User Guide (v1.13)
However, this is only for Mission and offboard mode. There is nothing for position mode. Let’s say, if you wanted to fly straight down a hallway without crashing into the walls
