Pixhawk4 USB is not seen by windows

Hello all,

I am trying to use the Pixhawk4 flight controller with Windows 7, but I fail to even start.
My computer is not recognizing the Pixhawk as a USB COM port, therefore it is not detected by either the QGC or the MissionPlanner.

In the device manager the pixhawk is under the topic “other devices” with the name “PX4 FMU v5.x”

I have installed the drivers that came with QGC with px4driver.msi but it is not working.

I have tried different ports, and a few different computers.

The Pixhawk is powered up (LED is flashing and buzzer buzzing).

Are there drivers that im missing? Is there something else I need to install? How can I fix this?
Thanks!

I have installed the drivers that came with the Mission Planner, and the problem seems to be resolved.
Maybe the QGC drivers are not updated for Version 5.x od px4…

@DDaniel

I am having this exact same problem. Completely identical!

The only problem is that I kinda have to use QGroundControl. :frowning:

I’ll try out Mission Planner. Hopefully installing that won’t create any conflicts with QGC.
