Pixhawk Cube Orange Burned After Wrong Battery Connection

Hello,

I need help diagnosing a possible har

dware failure on my Pixhawk Cube Orange after an incorrect battery connection.

What happened:
Due to a wrong battery connection, the RFD900ux telemetry module connected to TELEM1 was burned, along with its cable. There is now visible darkening (slight burn mark) on the TELEM1 port of the Pixhawk.

Observations after inspection:
The Pixhawk still powers up and distributes power to peripheral ports.

The SD card is not working – it’s not being recognized.

I can no longer connect to QGroundControl using telemetry through TELEM1 or TELEM2, even with a known working telemetry module.

The Pixhawk gets slightly warm during operation (not hot, but warm to touch).

The TELEM1 port provides power, but telemetry modules don’t respond when connected.

My RC receiver and transmitter still connect properly with the Pixhawk.

The burned RFD900ux module, when connected to the Pixhawk, shows a dim red light flashing every 3-4 seconds, but no light at all when connected to the PC via USB.

My assumptions:
The Pixhawk mainboard may be damaged.

The TELEM1 port is possibly dead.

Both TELEM1 and TELEM2 ports might be non-functional.

What I need help with:
How can I test the Pixhawk board and TELEM ports to confirm the damage?

Does Pixhawk have a protection or failsafe mode that might be preventing communication?

Is there any way to bypass damaged TELEM ports or reset/recover the Pixhawk?

Any suggestions or guidance on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
