Does anyone know how to enable an onboard display on pixhawk using QGgroundcontrol like Mission Planner does at: http://ardupilot.org/copter/docs/common-display-onboard.html ??

Yes. Just follow MSP OSD — Plane documentation and use beta firmware 4.10 and you should be good to go!
