Not able to connect the PX4 FMU-V6x to QGC

I am trying to run the HITL simulation for PX4. for the first time I was able to connect px4 to the QGC it detected the autopilot and i could do the configuration changes. But from the second time onwards, it is not directly detecting the autopilot when plugged in and is showing Disconnected always . Only when the jmavsim or gazebo is running it is being connected. Please help.

If you run in HITL this is normal that you need Gazebo or JMavSim to get the information of the drone. Maybe you can check in the “Application Settings” if the “Pixhawk” field is checked. But in HITL it should be unchecked or you QGC will block the connection to the simulator
