Need help! First time building a drone. PixHawk 6C doesn't connect to QGroundControl

Expected Behavior

Expected behavior: When I connect the USB cable from computer to the Pixhawk 6C, QGroundControl should automatically connect. When I turn on my radio transmitter, QGroundControl should allow me to calibrate the radio.

Current Behavior

Current behavior: When I connect the USB cable from computer to the Pixhawk 6C, QGroundControl fails to connect. When I upgrade the firmware, QGroundControl connect for a moment but then it shows a communication error. See picture below. Also, when I turn on my radio transmitter, it fails to connect to QGroundControl. I know the radio transmitter is connected though because telemetry shows it is connected and the Receiver lights up green.

Log Files and Screenshots

I’m not familiar with your particular FC but most assistant software will require a com port number from the 2102 driver. Does your software have a drop down near the connect button?

Do you mean the QGroundControl assistant software? There’s no connect button for this software. It should automatically connect when the USB cable is connected from PixHawk 6C to the computer.

Below is what I see on the console log after connecting the USB cable.
