Cant Calibrate Radio on QGC to FS-iA6B

Hi all.

I am in the process of using a Pixhawk 2.4.8 and connecting it via my MacBook Air to QGC. I am in the middle of my Radio calibration when I get the error Detected 0 Radio Channels, To Operate PX4 you need at least 5 channels.

Can anybody help with my issue?

I have a cable from RC IN on my pixhawk going to the FS -iA6B receiver i-bus servo port. My transmitter is a FS-i6X

Best,
N

Hello! You are NOT the only one with this issue!

I have the same problem with PixHawk 2.4.8 and GGroundControl on Android tablet.

I have stated I think that for some reason, QGroundControl isn’t detecting radio traffic from my Taranis X9D RC Controller. The icon for RC Controller is always grayed out.

My only way to “connect” to the PixHawk seems to be via USB cable. And of course QGC warns “flying by USB isn’t safe!” That’s scary, has someone tried that in the past?

Mine is a hexcopter, 8 channels configured so far.

It would be nice if someone could step forward with more information. QGC documentation is “very basic”.
