Kakute H7 no response

Hi, everyone. I have an issue with the kakute h7 board. When I connected it to my computer, my computer can not find the port, including with the Mission planner, Betaflight and zadig. Also, the led on the kakute h7 remains off. I have tried DFU mode, but the port still can not be found. However, the h7 board is heated when I connect it to the computer.
I have tried different usb cables and tried on other computers, still not found. The light on board is off even when powered by a battery. It was still working this morning, with light on. But when I connected it to the mission planner, and flipped it a little bit, it somehow lost connection.
I hope the board didn’t burned out. Can anyone help me? :sob:

I had lots of issues with a kakute h7. Sounds like the same you are experiencing. I went through connectivity issues via usb, board would get really hot and sometimes not connect and sometimes it would. I went through about 6 different cables and found that made a difference. Very strange. Then to get px4 working I probably spent a few weeks trying to load the bootloader and px4 firmware. After repeated flashes via the cube programmer and a randomly daily build I managed to some what get it stable. However it still had random issues. I bought another board assuming it was that, but the same thing.

I would recommend using the cube programmer to flash and load a new bootloader and then with qground control try and flash it..

It’s also a slow board and takes a while to read params etc.

Can you get rid of it and use it for betaflight? :joy:
