How to Disable External Compas?

Is there a way to disable the external compas without disconnecting it?

Hi,
I can’t test but if in QGC you put CAL_MAG1_ID at 0, I think that will turn off the external compas. (I not sure so if you fly be careful :wink:)

Can I ask you why do you want to disable it ?

I want to disable it because I am using an external compas (HCM5883) and it is not Temperature compensated like the ones in the PixRacer…

Only concern at the moment (after clearing it to 0) it complains about “PREFLIGHT FAIL: MAG 1 MAG 1 UNCALIBRATED”…

Is there a way skip this check?
