[Hiring-CBUnmanned Ltd] Build Px4 for a new Flight Controller. UK/EU-Fixed Length Remote

Hi All,

We are looking for a developer with experience building Px4 to build a firmware for our latest flight controller. We have an ArduPilot build working so we have confirmed the hardware works, but we need a Px4 build aswell.

Its a fairly generic setup but it doesn’t relate to one that exists at the moment. We’d prefer UK based making sending hardware is easier, but open to EU or further if required. We have a document with all the pin outs needed.

Please drop a message with previous related work and a fixed cost for the port, you will be required to sign an NDA.

Hi,

This sounds aligned with the kind of work I do.

I have worked on custom flight controller bring-up and firmware porting, including PX4 board configuration, NuttX integration, driver alignment, and validation on new hardware targets.
Since you already have an ArduPilot build running, that significantly reduces hardware risk, the main effort will be defining the PX4 board configuration, mapping the pinouts, validating sensors and buses (SPI/I2C/UART/CAN), tuning timing, and ensuring stable bootloader + firmware flashing.

If you can share the pinout document and MCU details (STM32 variant, flash size, IMU/baro/mag models, etc.), I can review and provide a fixed-cost proposal. I’m comfortable working under NDA.

Even if I’m not UK-based, I’ve handled remote hardware bring-up before with structured validation steps, but shipping hardware is obviously smoother when possible.

Looking forward to learning more about the board and timeline.

Best,
Akio.
