Project Coordination

The WG is hoping to ship the standard by Q1 2020 and is currently working on the last finishing touches to the spec, and we are going to continue the tracking of them on a project board hosted on GitHub (linked below)

  • Cleanup the source document, we cleared most (if not all) comments and a few sections that were not planned as part of the final release
  • We removed a section that tried defining the proper UAVCAN messages for a BMS, in favor of the work that is currently happening on the CAN WG
  • There are a few remaining details before completing the standard, dealing with multiple voltages, adding usage description and electrical characteristics to the pins on the pinout table, and making sure the state diagram is up to date.
