I am using a Pixhawk 6C with firmware PX4 and a FlySky iA6B receiver (iBUS only, no SBUS).
The Pixhawk 6C has an RCIN port labeled SBUS/PPM. Since iBUS is also a serial protocol, I would like to confirm the correct connection method:
-
Can iBUS be connected directly to the RCIN (SBUS/PPM) port?
-
Or must iBUS be connected to a regular UART port (e.g., TELEM2 RX)?
I would appreciate confirmation of the correct hardware port. Thank you.
Hi phantrungtien!
Can you share if you tested this? How did it work out for you?
I have a pixhawk 6c with px4, along with Flysky fs-i6 Remote controller. I am looking to buy a compatible receiver and it would be very helpful if you can tell me if it works or not.
I encountered a few errors when controlling via the PPM signal. I tried several control modes, and sometimes the controller seems not to work.

Sorry for late reply. I bought the receiver fs-ia6b, but when connecting it using PPM/CH1 channel to PPM/SBUS RC port on the 6c. I do not see the controller on QGC. Even though the transmitter is bound to the reciever and ppm output is turned on in settings. When i turn ppm output off and manually connect a motor to ch2, the motor spins meaning something is wrong with ppm or my controller. Also tried using i-bus channel but that too does nothing in qgc. No transmitter inputs show up and clicking calibrate button gives error: “Turn your Transmitter ON“.
Do you have any idea why this could be happening and what i can do better?
Thanks!
