Hi everyone,
I’m flying a fixed-wing UAV (SIHA) equipped with a Pixhawk 2.4.8 running PX4 firmware, an FrSky X8R receiver, an FrSky Taranis X9D+ transmitter, and a v5 telemetry module.
During an autonomous mission, the aircraft launched and successfully took off. However, while climbing toward waypoint 1, it suddenly cut the throttle and went nose-down into the ground.
In QGroundControl, I had set the takeoff altitude to 30 m and the following waypoints to 40 m.
At the exact moment of the crash, I noticed on my transmitter that the X8R receiver had lost connection.
After recovering the aircraft, I found that the power module was burned. I’m not sure if the module burned after the crash or if it failed beforehand, causing the throttle cut and loss of control.
I suspect a power failure, but I’d appreciate any help analyzing the log to confirm whether the issue was related to the power module, the telemetry link, or the receiver connection.
Thanks in advance for your time and insights!
