First drone flight crashed. New to this. Please help!

This is my first time building a drone for a heavy lift project.
I’m using:

  • F550 drone kit with
  • 2212/920 KV motors and some generic 30A ESCs that came with the kit.
  • Props are 1045.
  • Flight Controller is some chinese knockoff Pixhawk “Pro”, running Copter V4.5.7 firmware on fmuv3 platform (Which Pixhawk version is this? - #4 by rroche)
  • Using an M8N GPS+Compass
  • Radio Telemetry Module
  • x2 4S 5200 mAH 50C batteries

https://pix.rctoysky.com/ This is the website that the PC’s instruction manual told me to follow.

The drone crashed immediately after takeoff. I have attached a video (I know it was stupid to test indoors, outside was -9c and now I have a drywall to fix)
Crash

Several problems that I believe could be potential causes:

  • I may have incomplete configuration.

  • The GPS came with a Molex Picoblade connector that I had to change to a JST-GH connector.

  • The GPS gave me a hard time during Compass Calibration, the progress bar kept resetting after coming to 99% and starting over and over again so I set its fitness to “Relaxed”, I am using both, the GPS and Pixhawk’s internal compass.

  • The “Compasses Inconsistent” error pops up often on Mission Planner, even if I slightly nudge the GPS.

  • I mounted the buzzer onto the GPS pole, could it be causing interference? I was under the impression that I have kept the distance optimal.
    Overview

  • I am flying through a radio telemetry module using a virtual joystick. There is quite some lag. (Temporary measure till controller and USB joystick arrives)

  • I definitely have the motor configuration incorrect. I didn’t test it before because I either didn’t read through the manual completely or it doesn’t contain this info, but I finally found the Motor Test option in Mission Planner and the motors are indeed all over the place. I set them up in a Hexa X (DJI) config because I thought that the kit is DJI.

I have attached the DataFlash log in both, .bin and .log format as well as the result from the Auto Analysis.

Will retest after the prop replacements and the drywall repair kit arrives.

Anything else that I might have missed or may need to test?

Hi friend it seems you are runnig ArduCopter, I think you will have better luck in the ardupilot forums their wonderful community will sure have better answers https://discuss.ardupilot.org
