I have this Pixhawk 2.4.8 FMU-V2 https://www.amazon.com/Pixhawk-Controller-Splitter-Quadcopter-Multirotor/dp/B0DHWZ59GT
And I have it connected to QGroundControl running on Ubuntu 24.04.3. The Pixhawk is running firmware 1.11.3 (although I have also tried this with 1.12.3, 1.13.3, and 1.16.1 latest with the same result) and every time it connects, QGroundControl says that Compass needs calibrated and that setup is required. Even after I do all the calibration steps, the red dot next to Compass doesn’t go away and still says it needs setup. Rebooting the Pixhawk then does nothing again and I start from square one. The Accelerometer and Gyroscope calibrations simply work and the red dot next to them go away after calibrating, but the Compass never calibrates.
Below is a screenshot of after calibration is completed. After reboot, Compass calibration is still red.
Thank you in advance!
