I noticed that the maximum value for BAT_CRIT_THR is limited to 10% or lower. This seems like too low of a limit for my purposes. Would it be okay for me to use the “Force save” function to set it to something like 20%, or any value lower than BAT_LOW_THR?
Sure, you can force save any value. Just be careful when testing.
