Wind Effects in Gazebo

Hello everybody, I have just started using PX4 and I am trying to add wind to my simulations, I am using the windy world with: gz_x500_windy. But in the gazebo GUI, I can’t see any effects of the wind I apply. I try to use:

gz topic -t /world/default/wind_info \              
         -m gz.msgs.Wind \
         -p "linear_velocity: { x: 2, y: 0, z: 0 }"

And it seems to change the wind_info when I echo the topic but I can’t see any real effect of it in the simulation. Do you guys have any idea what is the problem and what I could do for it? I am trying to change the wind while I am in the simulation and it looks like it used to be done with plugins in gazebo but I couldn’t find how to do it in Harmonic.

@MM345 Currently the new Gz sim does not support simulating wind.

We are working towards it (e.g. Add custom gz airspeed plugin and add wind effects by Jaeyoung-Lim · Pull Request #26018 · PX4/PX4-Autopilot · GitHub)
