UART flow control (CTS/RTS)

I would like to enable flow control (drive RTS pin) on a telemetry port in order to connect it to a TTL to RS485 converter

I opened an issue explaining what I tried, but now I feel like it’s more a configuration problem than firmware issue

What can I do to see RTS pin changing properly to drive my converter ?
