Swarm Control with Redundant QGC


I am working on formation control. Each drone has a 3DR telemetry module. I currently have one station with QGC that controls/monitors all drone with single 3DR telemetry module (using multipoint SiK firmware). Now, I would like to have another base station that runs QGC for redundancy or other high-level control that can also monitor/control all drones. However, I am not able to do this as I can not configure another 3DR telemetry module as base.

Any ideas on how to do that?


@Mzahana You might want to consider using mavlink-router and stream the mavlink stream to the other station running QGC, however I don’t think this will necessarily enhance the redundancy of the system.
