RFD900 - Mission Planner

I am having issues with receiving data. When I direct connect my computer to the orange cube i receive GPS, air data, etc. When I try to connect RFD900 from computer to plane, I receive no data. I did change the BAUD 115 and air to 200. I do not see what I am missing to receive data from the RFD900

Why are the baud rates different???

QGC on your PC should auto-connect to the RFD900, but your air unit should be the default for RFD900 which I think is the 115

Default was set to 57600. I changed the computer port and RFD900 to 115. Found a few rooms that stated to try BAUD at 115. When i direct connect to the orange cube I receive all the correct data: airspeed, GPS, and various telemetry. With the RFP900 i do not see any information…except RC.

interesting. so you do see RC?

how close are your units? I would try to give the RFD900s some distance to make sure they arent too close and “shouting” at each other

the fact that you are receiving RC seems to tell me that something is getting through the radios

Hi,

First, make sure that RFD air unit baud rate is also set to 115.
Second, I had the similiar issue, QGroundControl auto connection is not connecting directly to SiK Radio when the baud rate is other than 56. So you need to connect from Application Settings->Comm Links->Add->COMx->BaudRate 115.

This worked for me, works for you.
