QgroundControl mission planner flight mode wrong path

Dear People

I have set up a tbs discovery with a jetson tx2.

We wanted to plan a path base on mission planner flight control mode.

We set up few waypoints at max attitude 3 meters, however when we started the mission the drone took of almost 10 meters. we have no clue why?

I send here the logs. https://logs.px4.io/plot_app?log=83a96fd5-636e-45d3-acf5-d799409e38a2

Also, in another test we set up few waypoits, like take off go to another way point and land. The drone did it but did follow a nice path. Here is the log file: https://logs.px4.io/plot_app?log=744625c8-336b-42e8-9c83-b2d4739359fb

Thank you for your help

The first log file shows position control, and not actually a takeoff at 3 meters, so I’m not sure how to read that.

The second log show a mission the mission seems to be at 10 meters, so that seems correct. It’s possible that the path following does not work properly because the heading estimate is off. It looks like your magnetometer measures a lot of magnetic interference from the ESCs/motors, check: https://logs.px4.io/plot_app?log=744625c8-336b-42e8-9c83-b2d4739359fb#Nav-Thrust-and-Magnetic-Field
