Announcement

We are moving away from Slack to Matrix because Slack changed the API and we cannot invite everyone anymore. The Linux Foundation figured there’s multiple projects suffering from this limitation and provides a Matrix server that we started testing. Latest by the PX4 developer summit we’ll move away from Slack.

Community Q&A

  • @rroche What’s going on with CI?
Is Jenkins not available anymore? It should be, it’s Daniel’s machine. There was restructuring with the URL. The CI still runs fine and you get the feedback in the pr on the new URL. It’s getting much faster. There is still some communication issue: Slack

  • @Roman Would it be compatible with the general idea of MAVLink that the autopilot can send out responses through the command interface? The goal is to be able to provide existing temporary values e.g. commanded by a different ground station to any new MAVLink participant like a ground station.
The mission item interface seems suitable for such a use case. Maybe we can extend it to other use cases like the VTOL takeoff UI or sensor calibration which are currently under discussion.

Release

We have more and more flight hours on the v1.12 release.
@bresch suggests updating 1.12 to the latest ecl version because there were bigger low-risk bug fixes.

In-Depth discussions

For smaller groups expanding technical discussions, stay until the end and follow up.
