Logger set to "New" but getting .px4 Logs?

Hi,

I have set the Logging in the Parameters to “New Logger” but I’m still getting logs with .px4 ending. Also the logs.px4.io does not accept those. I have rebooted since and the parameter was accepted.
I’m running Master Build about 4 Weeks old.

Any hints?

This Logging thing is becoming a bit anoying. Had a long flight today with 2 Landings. No Log was produced. Log Card is a SanDisk 16GB.

Got this in the Msg Log but no binary Log File was produced and also no Folder was produced.

@LorenzMeier has there been any Logging changes in the last 2-3 Weeks?

Which autopilot do you have? Logger wasn’t able to fit in the px4fmu-v2_default (pixhawk) binary until recently.

I have AUAV-X2. So I should try latest Master in order to get the new logger?

That appears to have logger already. Are you able to connect a console? If so it’s easy to check if it’s able to run and write to the sdcard. Have you had any logging working on this board with PX4 (new or old)? Are any other files written to the sdcard?

Yes I’m running this FC for about 2 Years now. I have never had any Log Issues at all.

On 10.2. I had swtiched to the new Logger in the Params and power cycled the Copter. The subsequent Flight got logged but in the old Format (.px4).

On 18.2. the Flight did not get logged at all usind the same SW as on 10.2.

I’ll try the current Master for the next flight.
