Location tracking of an aircraft on 3d space

Hello I have been working on a new autopilot system for airplanes. I am handling general navigation using GPS. However, I need a more precise navigation system for landing on runways or roads. I was thinking of a sort of beacon that I can place at the start of my runway and my aircraft will orientate itself relative to it.

I considered RTK GPS but they are expensive. I wonder is there a way to achieve this like real airplanes do in ILS technology.

I saw this video and it uses reflectors to navigate a drone. Can I implement this tenchnology?

@isa_turk What you are looking at is called a “motion capture system” and it is usually more expensive than a RTK. You can look at: VICON or Optitrack
