Kakute H7 only arms via mavlink

Hello, recently switched my Kakute H7 v1.3 board from ardupilot to PX4 and I am having trouble arming the drone. There are no error messages shown and when I connect over mavlink I am able to arm just fine. I calibrated the controller, set my arm channel, and I can see the inputs on QGroundstation, but it will not arm via RC. I am also noticing that my RC inputs seem sluggish on the calibration screen and the mavlink inspector shows a sub 1Hz RC input signal. I did change the RC serial port from the default to uart 3 before I flashed the drone, but I am not sure how to change the baudrate on that channel.
