Hexarotor-X drone vibrates after being armed before takeoff

My team has been using an S550 frame with EMax MT2216-810KV motors and CUAV V5+ as the autopilot. In altitude mode, the drone vibrates a lot just before takeoff but becomes fairly stable once its in-air. What could the reason for such a behavior be?

Without going much into your logs, first thing I noticed is that your vibration metrics are really high. I suggest taking a look at this doc.

Just out of curiosity, could you share how you’re mounting your autopilot on the airframe? Also, do motors and ESCs get hot before taking off?

My guess is that the motors are over compensating due to inherently large amount of vibrations going into the autopilot.
