Has QGC5.0 removed the support for the "follow me" mode in the VTOL?

When I was using the QGC5.0 version, the VTOL was in rotor mode and the mode displayed on the interface did not have the “follow me” option; however, when I switched to the QGC4.4 version, the VTOL was in rotor mode and the mode displayed on the interface allowed for switching to the “follow me” mode. So, did the QGC official remove the “follow me” function for the VTOL in the 5.0 version?

Two possibilities:

  • In QGC 5 the set of available flights mode come from the firmware. So could be a firmware side problem.
  • Also in QGC 5 you can edit the flight modes shown. Click the “>” to expand the fight modes dropdown and click “Edit flight modes”. The Follow Me one may be hidden.
