Enabling Bidirectional DShot

I’m working on a build using a custom H7 flight controller and a SpeedyBee 60A 8-bit ESC. I have flashed the ESC with Bluejay to enable bidirectional DShot support.

I’m trying to activate bidirectional data transfer, but when I check dshot_status in the CLI, it doesn’t show any information. Additionally, I’m unable to perform a motor test in the motors tab. Any idea what might be wrong?

Are you using MAIN or AUX pins for driving dshot?
DSHOT should be used on AUX pins.

To add to @Dr.Gadget , bidir dshot needs to be enabled in the vehicle parameters as well using theDSHOT_BIDIR_EN parameter.

hi , i am use the aux pin
@dotanAtTrim- what param need to change at the change to activate ?

As I mentioned - set DSHOT_BIDIR_EN to enable.

What PX4 version are you running?

You mentioned custom H7 build - does it follow any Pixhawk standard? FMUx?
Is bdshot compiled into your firmware?

i set the param as you say
run version 1.16
this board is Pixhawk standard fmu6
