Emergency Stop with Fixed Wing

Does anyone know how PX4 fixed wing reacts when the “Emergency Stop” command is sent. My understanding is that the motors will be disabled. However, is system smart enough to leave the control surface servos active so that the aircraft can glide to the ground in a controlled manner? In SITL it looks to me like the control surfaces stop actuating, but SITL also has special handling of all the PWM outputs so I’m not sure if this is correct.
