EKF GPS fusion timeout leading to failsafe enabled: no global position

Below are two ulogs of nearly identical planes with all the same hardware. One plane has a ton more error messages regarding the EKF which seem to line up with the estimator watchdog check bits (what do these check bits mean?) while the other plane has signifcantly worse GPS with higher jamming and position accuracy. Could someone please help me understand what is going wrong with my planes?
